The escape hood is a respiratory protective device for self-rescue in accordance with EN 403:2004 and protects the wearer from toxic gases, vapours and particulates for at least 30 or 40 or 60 minutes when escaping a fire. The device consists of an air-purifying vacuum filter, which prevents the inhalation of poisonous gases and smoke, and a fire-resistant hood which also protects the eyes and head from smoke and flames.

Mask Spec:
– The suction resistance: 95L/rain without more than 800 pa. – Expiratory resistance: 95 L/min without more than 300 pa. – Oil fog through factor: no more than 5%.
– Suction temperature: not more than 65 C. Wearing quality: 650g/pcs.
– Object of protection:Activated Carbon, Oxidant.
– Co protective concentration: 0 ~ 1%.
Gas Tested:
– The mask protects against hydrogen cyanide/prussic acid (HCN), hydrogen chloride (HCI), carbon monoxide (CO),
propenal (acrolein) (C3H40). And particulates produced by fire.
– Penetration coefficient of oil mist: >98%.
Safety Note:
– Only for self-rescue in the event of a fire.
– Does not protect against a lack of oxygen, (not to be used in an environment with less than 17% oxygen) Single use only.
– The actual protection time depends on the ambient air, (e.g. type and concentration of toxic gases or soot). Not suitable for infants.
– Before use, make sure that the vacuum packaging and escape hood are not damaged in any way and that the escape hood is unused.
1. Tear open the foil bag, remove the escape hood and unfold it.
2. Remove the red filter plugs (the inner one and the outer one) and push the filter box forwards. 3.Open the escape hood with both hands and put it completely over your head,
positioning the mask over your chin and nose. Tighten the orange strap.
4. Breathe calmly. Do not panic. Leave the danger zone.
